We have a beautiful pair of Louis XVI style armchairs for sale. These beauties are mid century vintage, and feature graceful oval medallion backs, fluted legs, and refined neoclassical detailing inspired by 18th-century French design.
The solid hardwood frames are finished in a soft antiqued cream tone with subtle distressed accents that highlight the carved details. Scrolled arms, channel carved seat rails, and tapered fluted legs give these chairs a timeless Hollywood Regency and French Provincial appeal.
Please keep in mind that these pieces are vintage. They’re not going to look fresh off the line. That being said, I’d like to point out some imperfections for the purpose of complete transparency. There is scratching on the wood consistent with age. The upholstery is far from pristine, and there are some stains. The price of this set reflects the imperfections. These would be great for those who like a bit of character in their space, or someone who would want to get them reupholstered without spending up to a couple thousand dollars.
