We have an absolutely gorgeous antique accent chair for sale. It’s a beautiful example of early 20th century Chinese Chippendale Revival furniture, dating to approximately 1915–1925. It features a finely carved geometric fretwork back panel, graceful cabriole front legs, and original small casters. This chair really showcases the craftsmanship of the late Edwardian era.
The chair is constructed from mahogany with a solid wood frame and classic period details. The comfortably padded seat and back are upholstered in a traditional floral fabric that complements the antique character of the piece.
This versatile antique works beautifully as an accent chair in a bedroom, hallway, entryway, or living room. It is ideal as a desk chair, side chair, or decorative occasional seat. The timeless design allows it to blend seamlessly with traditional, eclectic, or classic interiors.
Please keep in mind that this is a very old piece. It’s not going to look fresh off the line. That being said, I’d like to point out some imperfections for the purpose of complete transparency. There are imperfections on the sides, legs, and body of the piece. The upholstery is sturdy, but it’s not pristine. There are noticeable imperfections on the back legs.
